I'm a little late in posting this since I just created this blog today, BUT, Mike and I would like to announce the birth of our son, Devin Richard LaMorticelli. Devin was born on June 16, 2007 at 2:ooAM weighing 8 lbs, 2 oz. and measuring 20.25 inches long.
Tomorow is Devin's 3 week 'birthday' and both Mike and I are trying to figure out what makes this child tick and what his cries really mean. I think all of his cries mean he's hungry because I swear this kid can EAT! And EAT he does. All of the time!! The good news is that he is gaining weight and at his last pediatrician's appointment, Devin made his birth weight plus four additional ounces (he weighed 8.6 at that appointment). We do not need to return to the doctor until August when he will have his first round of "shots". (Suffice to say that Mom does not want to be at that appointment.)
We're so excited that Devin is here and we'll blog often to keep you posted on all of his happenings. In the meantime, enjoy a few pictures of our little man.
